Quality Manager – Cleanrooms – Sunderland

We are currently Partnering with a High-Growth, Market Leader in the Modular Cleanroom Design for the Biopharmaceutical sector. Demonstrating success across the UK and EMEA, they are currently seeking a Quality Manager to help further develop their growth.

Responsibilities

Oversee Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Lead all quality management activities across cleanroom construction projects, ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO 14644, and client-specific standards. Implement robust QA/QC processes to guarantee the delivery of high-specification cleanroom environments.
Develop and Maintain Quality Management Systems:
Establish, monitor, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure all procedures, documentation, and practices meet internal policies, industry regulations, and project-specific requirements.
Conduct Site Audits and Inspections:
Perform regular site audits, inspections, and quality checks to verify construction and installation works meet design intent and specification. Identify non-conformances, manage root cause analysis, and oversee implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and subcontractors to embed quality from design through to commissioning. Provide guidance and training to project teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and right-first-time delivery.
Manage Project Quality Documentation and Handover:
Prepare, review, and maintain project-specific quality documentation including ITPs, method statements, material certifications, and final turnover dossiers. Ensure accurate records are maintained for client handover and audit readiness.

Requirements

Must have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role on Cleanroom construction projects
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must be based within a commutable distance of Sunderland

Benefits
